FreeSWITCH Media Server

Description

Provides the core voice media processing layer — bridging, conferencing, recording, and IVR execution — on an open-source FreeSWITCH media server. Handles codec negotiation, DTMF, and call control events at scale.

Canonical use case

An enterprise contact centre runs all voice legs through a clustered FreeSWITCH deployment to maintain full control of media quality and call recording without dependency on a proprietary PBX.
