OpenSIPS SIP Proxy

Description

Deploys OpenSIPS as the SIP signalling proxy, providing load balancing, failover, and registration management for all SIP endpoints. Handles SIP authentication, NAT traversal, and call routing decisions at the signalling layer.

Canonical use case

A service provider uses OpenSIPS to distribute inbound SIP traffic across a FreeSWITCH media cluster and provide automatic failover if one media node becomes unavailable.
