WebRTC Browser-Based Calling
Description
Enables agents and customers to participate in voice and video calls directly from a web browser without any desktop plugin or softphone installation. Uses WebRTC standards for encryption, codec negotiation, and media transport.
Canonical use case
A retail bank deploys a browser-based agent softphone so remote agents can handle customer calls from any device using only the Chrome browser and a headset.
