Administration gadget

Description

A companion configuration administration tool for managing all dynamic configurations of the agent-facing Cisco Finesse gadget. The Administration Gadget provides a user interface for defining button properties (labels, state mappings, reason codes), transfer destinations, IVR numbers, CRM URL parameters, database connection credentials, and polling intervals. All configuration changes are stored server-side and served to agent gadgets at runtime. The agent gadget renders all buttons and indicators dynamically based on the active Administration Gadget configuration. High Availability is not required; a daily backup server is maintained by the customer for recovery. Hosts the configuration storage and REST API serving configurations to agent gadgets.

Canonical use case

An administrator needs to add a new transfer button, change the pause reason code, or update CRM portal parameters without code changes. The Administration Gadget provides a configuration interface where changes are immediately reflected in all agent gadgets on next poll.
